Inp.polri.go.id - South Tangerang. Indonesia’s U-18 MMA team won two gold medals at the GAMMA World MMA Championships 2024, held at Dewa United Arena in South Tangerang, Banten, on Tuesday (10/12/2024).
The first gold went to Lintang Satya Putra, who triumphed over U.S. fighter Christopher Ran in the U-18 Boys +75 kg final. Lintang dominated the match with a decisive win after three rounds, according to antaranews.com.
The second gold was won by Manayra Maritza Siagian in the U-18 Girls -52.2 kg category. Despite a point deduction, Manayra made a strong comeback to defeat Ukraine's Anastasilia Kucherenko.
In addition to the two golds, Indonesia earned four silver medals from Bumi Magani Himara (U-16 Boys -54 kg), Qianzy Ratu Enereida (U-10 Girls -26 kg), Aurelia Ratu Zee (U-12 Girls -38 kg), and Jibril Dhirgam (U-14 Boys -54 kg). The team also claimed three bronze medals..
