INP Allocates Rp77.3 Billion for Bhayangkara Hospital in West Papua Construction

Inp.polri.go.id - Manokwari.  The Indonesian National Police (INP) Headquarters has allocated a budget of Rp77.3 billion for the construction of the Bhayangkara Hospital of the West Papua Regional Police in the Manokwari Regency. "The West Papua Regional Police received the 2023 national budget allocation for the construction and development of the police-owned hospital facilities," said Brigadier General Police Aries Sarief, the INP Logistics Division Staff,  in Manokwari on Saturday (16/9/2023). He explained that the initiative is aimed at materializing the vision and mission of the INP that is supported by the good health of its personnel in delivering services to the community in West Papua. The  timeframe for construction and development of the integrated Bhayangkara Hospital of the West Papua Regional Police is scheduled  for 210 working days, commencing on September 16 until December 11, 2023. "The hospital will serve INP members, INP civil servants, and the general public in West Papua. INP personnel must remain healthy to ensure our outmost service," General Aries said as quoted by antaranews.com He called on the West Papua Regional Police and the construction management to oversee all stages of the hospital's construction and development to ensure it is completed within the specified timeframe, adding that  the procurement of hospital facilities such as medical equipment and medications will be carried out simultaneously following the completion of the physical development of the hospital. The INP Medical and Health Center will soon recruit medical personnel, including general practitioners, specialists, midwives, and nurses, to support the operation of the Bhayangkara Hospital of the West Papua Regional Police in 2024.
