Inp.polri.go.id - Semarang. Indonesian National Police Chief General Listyo Sigit Prabowo, inaugurated 32 Nutrition Service Units (SPPG) and laid the foundation for 27 more in Central Java on Friday (17/10/2025) to support the government’s Free Nutritious Meal (MBG) program.

“We’ve just held the groundbreaking for 27 SPPG and inaugurated 32 others, bringing the total number of SPPG in Central Java to 100,  the highest among all regional police offices,” he said in a statement, as reported by antaranews.com.

Chief Sigit said that the newly launched SPPG are expected to deliver meals to 97,622 beneficiaries and create 1,541 jobs. Nationwide, the INP have established 672 SPPG, serving around 2.35 million people and employing over 33,000 workers.

The police chief instructed all SPPG personnel to strictly follow standard operating procedures to ensure food safety and quality, emphasizing the importance of daily monitoring to maintain nutritional standards.
