inp.polri.go.id - East Nusa Tenggara. The Indonesian National Police (INP) Chief, General Listyo Sigit Prabowo has directly reviews the situation at the Lewotobi Eruption Evacuation Post in East Nusa Tenggara. In his visit, he listens to the plea of the refugees.

“We did asked the refugees on what they wanted, whether they want to return to their homes or follow the government program to be relocated,” said General Sigit on Monday (11/18/2024).

According to General Sigit, most of the refugees wanted to follow the government plan for relocation. However, they want the relocation point to be not far from their farms.

After the relocation, said the Chief of Police, it is hoped that the community can do their activities well.

"Of course this is our duty, and we asked the regent to help us accelerate the land search process so that the central government can immediately establish the evacuation posts. Our hope is that people can return to their daily activities soon and this has become our focus,” noted General Sigit.
