Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. The Indonesian National Police (INP) have intensively deployed heavy equipment to accelerate post-disaster recovery efforts in flood-affected areas of North Aceh, Aceh Province. 

Excavators provided by the INP are being used to clear mud and debris left by floods that struck the region in late November 2025.

“The deployment of police-supported heavy equipment is carried out continuously from one location to another to speed up recovery,” Aceh Regional Police Head of Public Relations Senior Superintendent Joko Krisdiyanto said on Tuesday (6/1/2026), as quoted by antaranews.com.

The operation is currently focused on Lubok Pusaka Village, Langkahan District, particularly around access roads near community facilities that were severely impacted. Police personnel are also working alongside local residents to restore road connectivity and clean residential areas.

Chief Joko said the effort aims to reopen isolated routes, normalize daily activities, and support broader humanitarian recovery..
