Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. Brigadier General Mukti Juharsa, the Director of Drug Crimes Directorate of the Criminal Investigation Agency (Bareskrim), has confirmed that Fredy Pratama, a major player in international drug syndicates, remains at large.
Fredy has been on the wanted list (DPO) since 2014, and the police are actively pursuing his capture.
"We are putting forth maximum effort, and we request your prayers. His location is not within Indonesia but overseas," he said during a press conference in Jakarta on Tuesday (12/9/23).
Since 2020-2023, there have been 408 police reports, resulting in the arrest of 884 suspects connected to the Fredy Pratama network, he added. He further emphasized that Fredy is an Indonesian citizen, stating, "He is an Indonesian Citizen, hailing from South Kalimantan."
The Criminal Investigation Agency, he said, has confiscated a significant amount of assets belonging to Fredy, totaling Rp 10,5 trillion.
Additionally, the total narcotics evidence confiscated in this case amounts to 10,2 tons of methamphetamine. However, the overall amount that has entered Indonesia for distribution is estimated to be between 100-500 kg.
