Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. The Indonesian National Police (INP) has reaffirmed its zero-tolerance policy against internal personnel involved in narcotics following the naming of suspended Bima City Sub-regional Police Chief, Superintendent Didik Putra Kuncoro, as a suspect. 

Indonesian National Police (INP) Head of Public Relations Inspector General Johnny Eddizon Isir said that the institution will not provide safe zones for any members tarnishing its credibility through illicit substances.

“The Indonesian National Police strictly guarantees there is no impunity for personnel involved in drug networks, as public trust remains our primary asset,” he declared during a press conference on Sunday (12/5/2026), as cited by antaranews.com..

The case surfaced after a series of raids by the INP Criminal Investigation Agency and Internal Security Maintenance Agency, which uncovered evidence including crystal methamphetamine and ecstasy at the officer's private residence in Tangerang. 

Authorities initially tracked the network through subordinates and domestic staff before identifying the high-ranking official’s involvement. While the suspect awaits an ethics hearing scheduled for 19 February 2025, leadership insists that legal proceedings will remain transparen
