Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. The Jakarta Metro Jaya Regional Police acknowledged that the Jakarta regional elections proceeded peacefully, attributing the secure and calm atmosphere to strong collaboration among stakeholders, including the media.

“The peaceful outcome is not only a blessing but also the result of collective efforts, with the media playing a vital role,” said Senior Superintendent Ade Ary Syam Indradi, the Metro Jaya Police Head of Public Relations, on Friday (29/11/2024).

He emphasized the importance of staying vigilant despite the peaceful situation. 

“We must remain alert and avoid underestimating potential threats while continuing to deliver fast and effective public services,” Chief Ade Ary said, as quoted by antaranews.com.

Achmad Faruk, the Chairman of the Police Journalists Forum, praised the collaboration, emphasizing the importance of open communication between law enforcement and journalists.
