inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. The Professional and Security Division (Bidpropam) of the Metro Jaya Regional Police held a hearing of the Police Code of Ethics Commission (KKEP) regarding allegations of abuse of authority and extortion. In this hearing, there were five members as alleged violators.

"That Bidpropam will hold a code of ethics hearing against the alleged violators on Friday, February 7th, 2025," said the Head of Public Relations of Metro Jaya Regional Police, Senior Superintendent Ade Ary Syam Indradi on Friday (2/7/2025).

He explained that the KKEP hearing was held in connection with allegations of abuse of authority and extortion in handling the murder case of a minor. A number of alleged violators in the case have also been placed in special placement.

The KKEP hearing was also attended by the National Police Commission to provide transparency for the public from the Police.

"Up until now, there have been five alleged violators. Four in special placement, plus one who was not placed in special placement, namely M, former Head of Criminal Investigation Unit of the South Jakarta Sub-regional Metro Police," he explained.
