Inp.polri.go.id - Tangerang. Minister of Agrarian Affairs and Spatial Planning (ATR/BPN) Nusron Wahid exposed several violations in the PIK2 development project along the North Coast of Tangerang, including breaches of spatial planning regulations (RTRW) and encroachment on protected forest areas.
He clarified that only 1,755 hectares of PIK2, designated for coastal tourism, is part of the National Strategic Project (PSN), not the residential zones.
However, 1,500 hectares of the area is classified as protected forest, which has not been reclassified for other uses. This issue is under the Ministry of Forestry’s jurisdiction, while his ministry role is to recommend compliance with spatial use regulations.
Former Ministry of State-Owned Enterprises Secretary Said Didu criticized the use of the PSN designation to justify land acquisition, noting that 1,400 hectares are mangroves, leaving just 355 hectares of usable land.
He also presented evidence that the Village Administration Association (Apdesi) supported land clearance for PIK2 in Kronjo District. These findings raise concerns about regulatory compliance and the impact on local communities.
