Named as Suspect, Police Successfully Arrest Hacker of Cabinet Secretariat Site

inp.polri.go.id – Jakarta. Police have succeeded in discovering the perpetrators who hacked the Secretariat website some time ago. In the statement given, the National Police's Public Relations Division, Brigadier General. Pol. Rusdi Hartono, said that the perpetrator had been named a suspect. The two perpetrators are teenagers from West Sumatra with the initials BS alias ZYY (18) and MLA (17). BS was arrested in Tabing Bandar Gadang, Nanggalo, Padang City, North Sumatra on Thursday, August 5, 2021. Meanwhile, MLA was arrested at the Hansela Garden Housing, Rumbai District, Dharmasraya Regency, West Sumatra on Friday, August 6, 2021. In the statement given, Community Development's Chief Bureau of National Police's PR division stated that until now the Criminal Investigation Unit of the Police is still investigating the motives used by the perpetrators. "The motive for changing the appearance of the web is not as it should be so that the web cannot be used properly. Meanwhile, the economic motive is being investigated by investigators," explained Community Development's Chief Bureau of National Police's PR. For the actions committed by the two suspects, they are charged with Article 46 paragraph (1) paragraph (2) and paragraph (3) in conjunction with Article 30 paragraph (1) paragraph (2) paragraph (3), Article 48 paragraph (1) in conjunction with Article 32 paragraph ( 1), Article 49 in conjunction with Article 33 of Law Number 19 of 2016 concerning Amendments to Law Number 11 of 2008 concerning Information and Electronic Transactions.
