Inp.polri.go.id - South Tapanuli. The North Sumatra Regional Police Mobile Brigade (Brimob) collaborated with local residents to renovate the Muhammadiyah Mosque in Batang Toru on Monday (16/2/2026).
The initiative aimed to restore facilities damaged by a recent disaster and ensure worshiper comfort ahead of the fasting month of Ramadan. Brimob officers and villagers focused on pouring concrete for the restroom entrance and cleaning the prayer halls.
“We want the presence of the Mobile Brigade to be truly beneficial; this activity fosters community spirit and improves worship facilities,” said Assistant Senior Inspector Antanius Tarigan, the North Sumatra Brimob’s Commander of Task Force Company 1, of during the cleanup, as cited by antaranews.com
The renovation, now 90 percent complete, utilized manual labor and simple tools to repair the infrastructure.
