Inp.polri.go.id - Kupang. The Professional and Security Division (Propam) of the East Nusa Tenggara (NTT) Regional Police conducted on Thursday (14/11/2024) an impromptu inspection of mobile phones belonging to Kupang City Sub-regional Police personnel, aiming to ensure no officers are involved in online gambling. 

Led by Superintendent Matheus Anus, the NTT Police Provost Head, the inspection involved dozens of officers and covered all personnel, both at the provincial and district levels. 

“No police officers should be involved in any form of online gambling,” he said.

Beyond phone checks, Propam NTT reviewed officers’ appearance, uniforms, and personal administrative documents to enforce discipline and uphold the force’s professional image. 

“We’re also inspecting appearance, uniforms, and documents. Any violations will result in strict penalties,” Chief Matheus added.

The initiative serves as a reminder for officers in NTT to adhere to ethical standards and avoid rule-breaking behaviors that could damage public trust.
