inp.polri.go.id - Kandangan. As a support for the central government program of food security, Hulu Sungai Selatan (HSS) Sub-regional Police plant corn seeds in Village Baru, Sungai Raya District.

HSS Sub-regional Police Chief, Superintendent Muhammad Yakin Rusdi led the activity along with the village officials.

“This is a concrete step of our support to the food security program of President Prabowo,” said Rusdi on Thursday (2/20/2025).

In his statement, he hopes that the corn planting in Desa Baru can be an example for other villages to develop.

Meanwhile the Village Chief, Kusasi, appreciated the food security program of President Prabowo.

“We are thankful for the police and the people of Sungai Raya who have steadfastly supported this program,” says Kusasi.

The corn planting is not only a real effort to support food security, but also as one of the steps of the HSS Police to strengthen relations with the community.

In addition, this activity is an inspiration for other agencies and the community to actively participate in maintaining sustainable food availability in HSS Regency.

With support from all parties, it is hoped that the program will bring long-term benefits, for regional food security and driving forward the local economy.
