inp.polri.go.id - Ambon. Police guarantee that the conflict in Ambon was not a biker gang clash although it was started by juveniles getting drunk. The clash was happening at Trikora Monument on Saturday (1/11/2025) to Sunday (1/12/2025) early morning.

“According to the information from the witnesses, the conflict started when teenagers were going around with motorbikes,” says Ambon Sub-regional Police Chief, Senior Superintendent Driyano Andi when confirmed by journalists on Monday (1/13/2025).

According to him, the delinquents were doing night racing and driving wildly and then gathering at Trikora Ambon Monument and drinking alcohol.

“Sparks of conflict were starting from there, from small fights escalating to group fights,” explains Driyano.

With the growing conflict at the location, police immediately went to the location and can be handled quickly.
