Inp.polri.go.id - Denpasar. Police found no evidence of bullying linked to the death of a 22-year-old Udayana University student, identified as TAS, who died after falling from a campus building last week.

“Based on witness testimonies, including lecturers, classmates, and close friends, there were no indications that the victim had experienced bullying,” said West Denpasar Police Chief Office Senior Inspector Laksmi Trisnadewi Wieryawan on Monday (20/10/2025), as quoted by antaranews.com.

Investigators attempted to examine the victim’s mobile phone for possible clues but were denied access by the family, who have accepted the incident as an accident and declined legal proceedings. The family also refused an autopsy.

Police said the investigation into potential bullying remains limited due to restricted access to key evidence but remain open to cooperation should the family reconsider. The student, identified as TAS, a student at the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences, was found critically injured after falling from the fourth floor of the Sudirman Campus and later died in hospital.
