inp.polri.go.id - Jayapura. The Damai Cartenz Task Force is still investigating the incident of attacks on police members in Dekai, Yahukimo Regency, and Wamena, Jayawijaya Regency, Papua Mountains Province.

"The investigation is still ongoing to uncover who the perpetrators of the attacks are," said Head of Operations for the Damai Cartenz Task Force, Brigadier General Faizal Rahmadani, quoted from to Antaranews in Jayapura, Friday (5/30/2025).

As a result of the attack, two police members on duty at the Jayawijaya Sub-regional Police and Yahukimo Sub-regional Police suffered injuries from the attack.

Faizal said that his party is still investigating the case to uncover the perpetrators of the attack in Dekai and Wamena.

He added that the two police members who were victims of the attack had been evacuated and were being treated at the Bhayangkara Hospital, Jayapura, Papua.

"Hopefully the condition of the two members will continue to improve," said Faizal Rahmadani.
