inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. President Prabowo urged the public to have the courage to speak the truth and not hesitate to fight against all forms of crime. The President cited corruption and manipulative practices as examples of crimes that must be fought.
"Let's not be afraid, let's not hesitate to say that what is right is right and what is wrong is wrong. We must be brave," said the President in his remarks at the Mujahadah Kubro event commemorating the Centenary of Nahdlatul Ulama (NU) at Gajayana Stadium, Malang City, East Java, Sunday (2/8/2026).
The President and his government will lead the fight against corruptors and anyone who plunder Indonesia's natural resources. President Prabowo will never hesitate or back down from fighting crimes that harm the people and the country.
"I and the government I lead will not hesitate to fight all forms of corruption, all forms of fraud, all forms of manipulation, all forms of embezzlement of the wealth of the Indonesian people. I will not hesitate and I will not back down, not even one step," he calls.
The President stated that Indonesia has been blessed by God Almighty with abundant natural resources. This condition is a fact, and based on data, Indonesia is a wealthy country.
However, the fundamental problem is the inability to safeguard natural resources as there are many who steal and smuggle wealth from Indonesia abroad.
"After I took office as president, I immediately looked into what we have. I studied all the data, I studied all the facts. I studied all the circumstances. And it only made me realize that our nation has been blessed by the Almighty with extraordinary wealth," he explained.
