Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta.  President Prabowo Subianto praised the Indonesian National Police (INP) for their dedication during the 2025 Eid al-Fitr travel season, acknowledging their essential role in maintaining public safety and managing the annual homecoming traffic. 

Speaking at the Economic Forum held at Menara Mandiri, Jakarta, on Tuesday (8/4/2025), he emphasized that the police's efforts often go unrecognized.

"Police are often the most criticized, yet in the heat of the day, without us realizing it, they work hard to protect us and manage traffic," said President Prabowo, as quoted by antaranews.com. 

He noted that the public tends to forget acts of service but easily remembers small mistakes.

The President also highlighted a significant achievement— a drop of over 30 percent in traffic accidents compared to the previous year. He attributed this improvement to effective preparation and the dedication of all frontline personnel involved in securing the flow of millions of travelers.
