inp.polri.go.id - Bangka Belitung. The Traffic Directorate of the Bangka Belitung Regional Police held a vehicle enforcement on the 12th day of the 2025 Menumbing Safety Operation which was carried out on the border route to Pangkalpinang City and Bangka Regency areas, Friday (2/21/2025).

Head of the Bangka Belitung Police Traffic Directorate Law Enforcement Sub-directorate, Police Assistant Superintendent Febri Suryawardaha said that this operation was carried out jointly with other related agencies.

“On the 12th day of the operation, we are doing the road inspection together with three other institutions from the military, Jasa Raharja, and the Transportation  Department. We are doing this at the border area to Pangkalpinang and Bangka Induk, precisely at Kace Village,” says Febri.

Febri Suryawardaha also explained that the enforcement mechanism itself is carried out through warnings or tickets for drivers of both R2 and R4 or more.

From the implementation carried out, the personnel on duty still found many drivers, especially the two wheeled drivers who were not complying with traffic laws.

He says that his party will continue to appeal to the public considering the number of violations and traffic accidents in the previous Operation increased.

Febri Suryawardaha hopes that the public can be more orderly in driving so that they do not become victims of traffic accidents
