South Sulawesi Regional Police Chief Attends the Corn Harvest in Simpurasia Village

inp.polri.go.id - South Sulawesi. The South Sulawesi Regional Police Chief, Inspector General Yudhiawan directly attended the corn sowing at Simpurusia Village, Wajo Regency. 

The harvest was part of the food security program implemented simultaneously at 50 points in seven districts in South Sulawesi Province.

In his remarks, the South Sulawesi Regional Police Chief said that the corn harvest covered 1.2 hectares of land in Simpurusia Village and was part of a total of 62.3 hectares managed in seven districts with an estimated harvest of around 379 tons of corn.

"This program is a concrete step in supporting food security in South Sulawesi. The seeds used are hybrid seeds (NK306) Garuda with a target harvest of 6 to 7 tons per hectare," said Chief Yudhiawan.
