Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta.  The Singaporean government has rejected the bail request of Paulus Tannos, an Indonesian fugitive in the e-KTP corruption case, Indonesia’s Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) confirmed Tuesday (17/6/2025).

“We welcome the Singapore court’s decision to deny Tannos’ bail request. He remains in detention,” KPK spokesperson Budi Prasetyo said, as quoted by antaranews.com.

A preliminary hearing on his extradition is scheduled for 23 to 25 June 1025. The KPK expressed optimism about the process and highlighted it as a positive precedent for anti-corruption cooperation between Indonesia and Singapore.

The KPK has been closely coordinating with Indonesia’s Ministry of Law and Human Rights and the Indonesian Embassy in Singapore to fulfill all required documents for the extradition proceedings.
