Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta.  A seven-year-old boy is receiving intensive medical care from six doctors at the Bhayangkara Police Hospital in East Jakarta after allegedly being abused by his parents in Kebayoran Lama, South Jakarta.

“Following leadership directives, the Bhayangkara Police Hospital has deployed six doctors working in collaboration,” said Deputy Head of the Hospital, Senior Superintendent Erwinn Zainul Hakim, on Saturday (14/6/2025), as quoted by antaranews.com.

The boy, identified as MK, was transferred from Kebayoran Lama General Hospital late Thursday and admitted to the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit at 9.54 pm. Doctors are monitoring his condition closely.

The police confirmed that the boy was found with signs of dehydration and sharp-object injuries. According to initial findings, he suffered severe physical abuse, including being slashed and burned, allegedly by his biological father.

Police are currently investigating the incident to determine the full circumstances and legal accountability.
