Coordinating Ministry for Human Development and Culture (Kemenko PMK) implores the public to consider partaking in the free homecoming program to suppress the traffic flow. “We hope that most of you would take public transportation instead, either paid or free,” says the Deputy VI of the Human Development and Culture Coordinating Ministry, Warsito in the press conference on Tuesday (4/2/2024). Warsito remarks that of this year’s homecoming season, there are various institutions who present free homecoming programs for the public. One of which are the Ministry of State-Owned Enterprises. The provision of the public transportation is aimed to suppress the risks potentials in the road, such as motorbike travelers who are prone to dangers during their long travel. On the other hand, the government has also prepared various schemes to ensure the homecoming flow is smooth and safe. The government continues to coordinate and discuss the traffic road, posts, traffic management, rest areas, and others. Meanwhile, in the security sector, Warsito conveys that police forces are ready to provide their best service to the people in preventing hijacking.
