As one of the ASEAN countries, Indonesia has long been an energy exporter, supplying coal and natural gas to the world. However, as the world shifts towards a low-carbon future, Indonesia must also shift to becoming a major exporter of renewable energy.
The impact of climate change urgently needs to be resolved. Overcoming it requires large financial investment, innovative funding mechanisms, and commitment from various stakeholders including the government, private sector, and communities. The Global Blended Finance Alliance (GBFA) can answer that need.
