Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. The Indonesian National Police (INP) has outlined a tailored security strategy for the 2024 elections, focusing on the vulnerability levels of each polling station (TPS).
Brigadier General Ahmad Ramadhan, the Head of Public Affairs of INP Public Relations Division, explained, "The security approach for TPS is classified based on vulnerability, namely low, moderate, and high."
Operation Mantap Brata will lead TPS security efforts, involving a total of 2.130 personnel strategically positioned according to the vulnerability assessments of respective regions.
He emphasized, "Operation Mantap Brata 2023-2024 will encompass security measures from the registration phase to the swearing-in of members of the House of Representatives (DPR), Regional People's Representatives Council (DPRD), Regional Representatives Council (DPD), President, and Vice President."
He further detailed that the security efforts will encompass preemptive and preventive actions, reinforced by legal enforcement, public relations, and operational support.
