Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. The Indonesian National Police (INP) Traffic Corps  is prioritizing organizational and operational transformation to strengthen its role in serving the public, Head of Traffic Corps Inspector General Agus Suryonugroho said Monday (26/8/2025).

“Organizational and operational transformation is the key to ensuring that Korlantas’ presence is truly felt by the public,” he said during a discussion at the Traffic Corps Headquarters in Jakarta, as quoted by antaranews.com. 

Chief Agus explained that organizational transformation means building both solid structures and strong achievements, while operational transformation requires the Traffic Corps officers to be more active on the ground.

He emphasized that initiatives like Korlantas Menyapa must highlight a human-centered approach to service and road safety. 

He noted that while traffic accidents remain high, a downward trend has been recorded, thanks in part to stricter enforcement against overloaded and oversized vehicles.
