Based on forecasts from the Meteorology, Climatology, and Geophysics Agency (BMKG), heavy to very heavy rainfall, thunderstorms, and strong winds may affect key transport hubs, including Soekarno-Hatta International Airport and various ferry crossings.

"As a precaution, I have instructed all transport service providers to tighten safety monitoring, particularly in aviation and maritime sectors," the minister said on Wednesday, as quoted by antaranews.com.

Transport operators are required to regularly check BMKG updates and be prepared to adjust operations. Weather conditions can change rapidly, requiring swift decisions, including rerouting or canceling trips if necessary.
