inp.polri.go.id - Maluku. The Indonesian National Police (INP) Chief, General Listyo Sigit Prabowo promotes one level higher, posthumously, to Second Police Assistant Inspector Husni Abdullah. He was the victim of a shooting when he was trying to disperse a conflict between two groups in Central Maluku.

"For the award, a promotion of one level higher was given. The family will also be given support and convenience when registering as a police officer," explained the Head of Public Relations of the Maluku Regional Police, Senior Superintendent Areis Aminullah, when confirmed by reporters, Wednesday (4/9/2025).

Areis says that compensation had also been given to the family when the Maluku Regional Police Chief, Maluku Governor, and Military Commander came and visited the victim's house.

Areis emphasized that until now the process of examining witnesses is still being carried out to find out the perpetrator of the shooting. As of now, investigators still have not yet determined the perpetrator.
