Minister of Elementary and Secondary Education Abdul Mu'ti confirmed that every student whose home was affected by the fire several days ago will receive a school kit and trauma healing services.

To provide trauma healing services for affected students, his office has coordinated and collaborated with the Indonesian Psychological Association (Himpsi), which is currently conducting an initial assessment to collect data and map out the psychosocial and trauma healing support that should be provided to the students.
In addition to the students, he added that the Ministry of Primary and Secondary Education is also providing compensation of IDR 10 million each to two teachers and one school security guard affected by the fire in the area.
Regarding teaching and learning activities, Abdul ensured that the fire disaster would not disrupt or eliminate learning opportunities for students attending schools near the fire site.
He added that students affected by the fire have the opportunity to take make-up exams, given that final semester exams are currently underway.
"Regarding teaching and learning activities, the children can study as usual, some of whom are currently taking final semester exams. Those who may not be able to participate due to certain circumstances will also be given the opportunity to take make-up exams by their respective schools," Abdul explained.
