inp.polri.go.id - Riau. Riau Regional Police have successfully built and renovated 110 Merah Putih Presisi Bridge that are spread across regencies and cities in the country to improve regional connectivity.

The bridges are hoped to ease public access to school, health facilities, place of worship, and economic centers.

The bridge program are launched this year in commemorating the 80th Bhayangkara Day and become part of police contribution in supporting regional development.

The Commander of Riau Regional Police Mobile Brigade, Senior Superintendent I Ketut Gede Adi Wibawa, explains that the construction of the bridges is part of the government’s and police leader’s order in order to bring benefit directly to the people.

“The construction of this infrastructure shows our attention to the public so that they can access the various public facilities that the government has built,” says Wibawa on Sunday (6/28/2026).

According to him, the construction of the bridges were built gradually. In the first phase, the police have built 27 bridges that have been inaugurated. Then, continued in phase two with the construction of 83 bridges. 

“By the end of June 2026, all program targets of 110 bridges have been built according to the plan,” said Wibawa.

He hopes that the bridges can bring long term benefits to the people and support the growth of the local economy.
