Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. Ahead of the upcoming 2023 FIFA U-20 World Cup held in Indonesia, Indonesian National Police (INP) has been preparing its 2.716 personnel to secure the event.
In Bali, one of the six host cities, the INP will collaborate with 427 additional personnel of relevant stakeholders from May 20 to June 11.
"The INP will collaborate with the Indonesian Military, the Municipal Police, the Transportation Agency, the Health Agency, the Regional Disaster Management Agency, the Fire an Rescue Agency, and the Pecalang (traditional guards)," Head of Public Affairs Bureau of the Public Relations Division of the INP Headquarters Brigadier General Ahmad Ramadhan said in a press conference on Monday (13/3/23).
He explained that the INP is to implement both preventive and repressive security measures through an open and closed system. The implementation of the security measures will be in accordance with FIFA standards.
"We will put the stadium security training into practice to ensure the seamless security operation," he concluded.
