The Banten Regional Police Directorate of Special Criminal Investigation held a corn harvest in the third quarter of 2026 as a form of support for the government's program to strengthen national food security. This event took place in Cimarga District, Lebak Regency, Banten.
In his remarks, the Director of Special Criminal Investigation Directorate, Senior Superintendent Yudhis Wibisana, explained that the corn harvested from a 10-hectare plot yielded approximately 20 tons.
"The harvest was then directly handed over to the State Logistics Agency (Bulog) to support the availability and absorption of corn," he said.
Furthermore, Yudhis stated that this major corn harvest activity is part of the Banten Regional Police's commitment to supporting food security.
"Through this activity, we strive to synergize with the government and all stakeholders to maintain food availability and ensure that agricultural production is properly absorbed," he said.
Concluding, Yudhis expressed his hope that this major corn harvest activity would benefit the community.
"We hope this major corn harvest activity will benefit the community and be part of a joint effort to achieve sustainable food security," he concluded.
