Inp.polri.go.id - Bogor. The Traffic Unit of Bogor Sub-Regional Police recorded 20 thousand vehicles leaving the Puncak area in Bogor Regency, West Java, on the last day of the Christmas holiday. "Preliminary data reveals that 20 thousand vehicles entered and exited the Puncak area, totaling around 40 thousand vehicles," said Police Senior Inspector Rizky Guntama, Head of Bogor Sub-Regional Police's Traffic Unit, on Tuesday (29/12/23). To ease traffic congestion between Bogor Regency and Cianjur Regency, the Bogor Sub-Regional Police have reinstated traffic engineering, enforcing a one-way system toward Jakarta from noon until evening, he explained. He noted that on the last day of the Christmas holiday, fewer vehicles entered the Puncak area compared to previous days. Since the last working day before Christmas, the vehicle count has reached 100 thousand.
