inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. Head of the National Nutrition Agency (BGN) Dadan Hindayana said that as of January 17th, 2025, there were 238 Nutrition Fulfillment Service Units (SPPG) operating to fulfill free nutritious meals (MBG) in 31 provinces.

The Head of BGN said that of that number, there were around 650,000 children, pregnant women, breastfeeding mothers, and toddlers who enjoyed free nutritious meals.

"We pray that the number could continue to increase so that from January to April, we can serve a total of three million recipients and six million by August," said the Head of BGN, on Friday (1/17/2025).

In realizing this, President Prabowo Subianto summoned the ranks of ministers and heads of institutions for a meeting at the Presidential Palace. In front of his aides, the President emphasized that all ministries/institutions, the central government, regional governments, TNI/Polri, must work together in implementing the MBG program, especially in areas where children have not received the benefits of nutritious meals.

"The President wants this program to be truly cross-sectoral, and work together with each other," underlines Dadan.
