inp.polri.go.id - Lampung. An Affordable Food Movement (GPM) program was held simultaneously in Lampung by the police for the people in meeting their daily needs. In the program, Lampung Regional Police distributed the food, particularly the SPHP rice, sugar, and cooking oil, through their ranks.
On Saturday (10/25/2025), a total of 12 tons (830 kilograms) of food was distributed. Of these, the Bandar Lampung Sub-regional City Police distributed 3.5 tons, the South Lampung Sub-regional Police 3.58 tons, the Central Lampung Sub-regional Police 3 tons, the Pesawaran Sub-regional Police 2 tons, and the West Pesisir Sub-regional Police 750 kilograms.
Meanwhile, for the activity scheduled for Sunday (10/26/2025), the food distribution plan reached 45 tons (605 kilograms), with the largest distribution being carried out by the South Lampung Sub-regional Police (37 tons, 605 kilograms), followed by the Pesawaran Sub-regional Police (6 tons), the West Pesisir Sub-regional Police (3.75 tons), and the Pringsewu Sub-regional Police (2.25 tons).
The Head of Public Relations of the Lampung Regional Police, Senior Superintendent Yuni Iswandari Yuyun, explained that this activity demonstrates INP's concern for the community, ensuring purchasing power and stable food prices, especially as the year draws to a close.
"The Lampung Regional Police, along with all its ranks, remain committed to helping the community through the GPM Program. The distribution of SPHP rice is a concrete step by the police to reduce prices while ensuring food availability in the market," said Yuni on Sunday (10/26/2025).
She added that all GPM activities are carried out with the involvement of the regional government and the State Logistics Agency (Bulog) to ensure the availability of SPHP rice and other staple foods.
"We are working closely with the regional government and Bulog to ensure the distribution of SPHP rice is accurate, so that the public can obtain quality rice at a stable price," she explained.
On the other hand, Yuni also expressed her appreciation to all police ranks who actively distribute SPHP rice and other staple foods to the community.
She also emphasized that GPM will continue to be held sustainably throughout the Lampung Regional Police jurisdiction to strengthen regional food security.
