Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. The Central Jakarta Metropolitan Sub-regional Police have deployed 3,315 personnel to secure protests at the Constitutional Court in Central Jakarta on Tuesday (16/4/2024).
Acting Head of Public Relations Section of the Central Jakarta Metropolitan Police, Second Inspector Ruslan, confirmed the deployment, aimed at managing an estimated 500 participants, as reported by antaranews.com.
Traffic arrangements have been made around the location, contingent upon the situation. Prior to this, invitations circulated for a demonstration, scheduled for Tuesday, starting at 1 pm in front of the Constitutional Court buidling.
The leaflet urged participants to demand fair rulings from the Constitutional Court regarding disputes over the results of the general election or the 2024 presidential election .
Attendees were also advised to bring emblems representing their organizations, assemblies, and communities.
