Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. The Indonesian National Police (INP) Head of Traffic Corps, Inspector General Aan Suhanan, disclosed on Tuesday (16/4/2024) that 30% of holiday travelers have not returned to Jakarta after Eid al-Fitr due to the work-from-home policy, expecting their return on Tuesday and Wednesday.

While traffic eased on toll roads one week after Eid, the INP Traffic Corps has ceased one-way traffic engineering from kilometer 414 Kalikangkung Gate to kilometer 72 Cipali Gate.

Contraflow measures, however, continued on the Jakarta-Cikampek Toll Road from kilometer 70 to kilometer 47, according to antaranews.com.

Tourist areas, like Puncak Bogor, saw increased traffic from Eid until three days after. To manage, odd-even restrictions and other traffic measures were in place.

Return traffic on the Pantura route was smooth, though busy at traffic lights. Chief Aan thanked all involved parties for ensuring smooth Eid al-Fitr 2024 travel.
