Inp.polri.go.id - Timika. The 2023 Cartenz Peace Operation Team discovered firearms in Camp Simal, a location suspected to be the shelter of the Ndugama Armed Criminal Group (KKB) in Nduga, Papua. 

Head of the Cartenz Peace Operation Team Police Senior Superintendent Faizal Ramdhani said on Monday (2/20//23) that the team has confiscated dozens of evidence.

The evidence has been taken from the camp in Kenyam district to the Nduga Police station for further investigation, he said in an official statement.

The evidence consisted of, among other things, one Revolver short firearm, one AK weapon magazine, one firearm spring, cellphones, documents, and cameras.

"The investigators of the team and the Nduga Police are collecting data and examining the evidence at the moment," he said.
