Inp.polri.go.id - Medan. The North Sumatra Disaster Management Operations Center (Pusdalops reported that 45,032 residents remain displaced following a series of natural disasters across the province.
According to the updated report received Sunday evening (7/12/2025), evacuees are spread across nine of the 18 affected districts and cities. The largest numbers were recorded in Central Tapanuli, Langkat, South Tapanuli, Sibolga, and Humbang Hasundutan. Smaller groups were reported in Tapanuli Utara, Medan, Deliserdang, and Serdang Bedagai.
The data reflects conditions as of 5 pm on Sunday, said Sri Wahyuni Pancasilawati, the Head of Emergency Handling, Equipment, and Logistics at North Sumatera Regional Disaster Management Agency (BPBD).
She noted that disaster response efforts are ongoing and updates will continue as coordination progresses across government agencies, as reported by antaranews.com
The disasters affected a total of 18 districts/cities, including Medan, Binjai, Tebingtinggi, Padangsidimpuan, Deliserdang, Langkat, Pakpak Bharat, Nias, Nias Selatan, Asahan, Batubara, Mandailing Natal, and the three Tapanuli regions.
