inp.polri.go.id - Semarang. The Central Java Regional Police through the Traffic Directorate Unit, managed to record 59,776 violations during the 14 days of the Candi Safety Operation 2025.

The Director of Traffic for the Central Java Regional Police, Senior Superintendent Sonny Irawan, said that of the many violations, most only received warnings.

"A total of 1,036 violators were ticketed via static ETLE while 2,128 were ticketed with mobile ETLE," he said on Tuesday (2/25/2025).

According to him, most recorded violations in the operation are motorcycle drivers not  wearing an SNI helmet.

On the other hand, during the Candi Safety Operation, 611 accidents were recorded with 27 fatalities.

In his closing statement, Sonny said that the implementation of the Candi Safety Operation 2025 prioritizes humanistic educational, preventive, and persuasive efforts.
