As many as 60,028 vehicles entered Jakarta through five toll gates on a day after Eid Al-Fitri while outbound traffic totaled  67,092 vehicles, according to the Indonesian National Police (INP)  record. Brigadier GeneralTrunoyudo Wisnu Andiko, the Public Information Head of the INP Police Public Relations Division, detailed on Saturday (13/4/2024) the toll gate statistics: GT Cikupa Utama (17,102 vehicles), GT Merak (15,036), GT Cikampek Utama (7,803), GT Kalihurip Utama (9,707), and GT Ciawi Utama (10,380) for inbound traffic. Outbound traffic saw 19,469 vehicles leaving via GT Cikupa Utama, 16,133 via GT Merak, 7,742 via GT Cikampek Utama, 10,744 via GT Kalihurip Utama, and 13,004 via GT Ciawi Utama. In addition, he said,  34 ships operated from Bakauheni Port to Merak, transporting 78,585 passengers and 9,523 vehicles a day after Eid, which fell on Wednesday, according to antaranews.com. Chief Trunoyudo emphasized cooperation, queueing, and patience, assuring travelers of safety during the return journey.
