Vaccine recipients receive the vaccine step by step. This can be seen in mass vaccination activity conducted by Regional Police and Sulthan Thaha Saifuddin (STS) Islamic State University (UIN) Jambi on the second day, Sunday (07/18/21).
The activity started at 07.30 Indonesia Western Time at the Chatib Quzwein Auditorium, STS UIN, Jambi Mendalo, Muaro Jambi Regency, by implementing the Health Protocol.
Chief of Jambi Regional Police, Police Inspector General A Rachmad Wibowo said vaccinations carried out on Sunday (07/18/21) targeted 600 vaccines.
"On the second day of vaccination, we are targeting 600 vaccines, intended for academic community of UIN STS Jambi and their families, communities around Jaluko Muaro District, Communities, Families of workers and community organizations," he explained.
He added the vaccination collaborated of Jambi Regional Police and UIN STS Jambi was one of the efforts to reduce Covid-19 pandemic, so community immunity (herd immunity) could soon be achieved.
"Vaccination targets the entire academic community of UIN STS Jambi and general public who have not been vaccinated. So community immunity (herd immunity) can be achieved to stop the spread of Covid-19 virus," he explained.
Head of Public Affairs of Jambi Regional Police, Police Grand Commissioner Mulia Prianto, hopes this vaccination can reduce positive number. Then, it is hoped people will continue to maintain their health and comply with health protocols.
"We urge all people to continue carrying out health protocols even though they have been vaccinated twice. This is all because many who are currently being treated have had 2 vaccines,” he explained.
Vaccination acvitity is ongoing and it was reported up to 11.30 Indonesia Western Time, 49 Vials/488 doses of vaccine had been injected.
The second day of vaccination was attended by Director of Intelligence and Security of Jambi Regional Police, Police Grand Commissioner Bondan Witjaksono, Head of Medical and Health of Jambi Regional Police, Police Grand Commissioner de. Yolie Diana Koesnin, Deputy Rector II of UIN STS Jambi DR As’Ad Isma, Ad Interim (Plt) Deputy Director of Intellegence and Security of Hambi Regional Police, Police Grand Commissioner Attendant Syafei Bagus, Head of Sub-Directorate of Intelligence and Security of Jambi Regional Police and security personnels of Jambi Regional Police and Muaro Jambi Resort Police.
