The East Kutai Sub-regional Police held a departure roll call for Operational Control Assistance (BKO) personnel assigned to the Samarinda Sub-regional City Police for mass control. The BKO personnel's departure is an effort to strengthen the security and public order situation in East Kalimantan.

East Kutai Sub-regional Police Chief, Superintendent Fauzan Arianto, stated that two mass control platoons, totaling 73 personnel, were officially dispatched as a form of security support to create a safe and conducive public order and security situation in the Samarinda area. 

During the roll call, the personnel were instructed to always maintain professionalism, discipline, and prioritize a humanistic approach while carrying out their duties in the field.

Fauzan emphasized that the BKO assignment represents a form of trust and responsibility that must be carried out with full dedication.

"This assignment is an honor and a responsibility for all of us. I emphasize to all personnel to uphold the institution's good name, act professionally, and prioritize a humanistic attitude in every task," he explained on Monday (4/20/2026).

Furthermore, Fauzan emphasized the importance of maintaining unity and health while carrying out duties in the assigned areas.

"Maintain your health, maintain unity, and always comply with applicable procedures. Carry out your duties with a full sense of responsibility and maintain synergy with personnel within the Samarinda Police," he said.

He also stated that the presence of BKO personnel is expected to make a real contribution to maintaining security and stability in East Kalimantan.
