inp.polri.go.id -  Aceh Police Chief, Inspector General Ahmad Haydar, appreciated the food security program by the Subulussalam Police. The Subulussalam Police reportedly had planted corn to secure food sustainability in their region. The Head of Public Relations of Aceh Police, Commissioner Winardy, stated on Friday (9/16) that food security is an important aspect to maintain public safety and security in the region. Not only as an economic commodity, food is also a commodity that has social and political functions, both nationally and globally. “Food security is very important to support food availability. Therefore, what the Subulussalam Police have done should be appreciated,” said the Head of Public Relations of the Aceh Police, in conveying the Aceh Regional Police appreciation to the Subulussalam Police. Meanwhile, Subulussalam Police Chief, AKBP Muhammad Yanis said that the first corn harvest was carried out by his party. The corn field itself was planted in the vacant land of the Resort Police. "We manage to harvest two tons of corn today," said the Subulussalam Police Chief, accompanied by the Head of Bhayangkari Subulussalam, Mrs Dewi Yanis, during the first corn harvest for the food security program, Friday, September 16, 2022. The Subulussalam Police Chief also said that the corn harvest was part of Subulussalam Police's effort in carrying out food security program, where they also had secured the stocks of chili, eggplant, and fish.
