"We deployed 2,072 personnel consisting of the Army and the Police, The Transportation Agency, and the Civil Service Police Unit," stated the Head of Public Relations of the Lampung Police, Commissioner Zahwani Pandra Arsyad in Bandar Lampung, Thursday (15/9/22). The Head of Public Relations of the Lampung Regional Police continued that in the peaceful demonstration, there were no casualties, both from the community members and joint personnel. "No one’s hurt, and there are no damages in public facilities," he said. Commissioner Zahwani conveyed that the Lampung Police Chief himself appreciated the demonstrators who voiced their concern peacefully. He continually hopes that demonstrators would not commit to anarchy and damaging public facilities. "We really appreciate it, we also ask to the college students not to be anarchists when expressing their aspirations, because you could be sanctioned by the law enforcement forces, which in turn also gave a negative impact on yourselves," said the Head of Public Relations of the Lampung Police.
