inp.polri.go.id - The Directorate of General Crime Investigation of Aceh Police successfully uncovered 11 cases of gambling for August 2022. Aceh Police Head of Public Relatikns, Commissioner Winardy said that the gambling cases has caught the attention of the police due to many reports from the public. "And this is also in accordance with the directions from the National Police Chief General Listyo Sigit Prabowo regarding our commitment in eradicating gamblings and all whose involved in it," said Commissioner Winardy. From January to July 2022, Aceh Police have followed up 38 cases and able to resolve 27 of it. "Before there's an order from the National Police Chief, we have already handled 38 cases of gambling. Then after the National Police Chief state his direction, in August we have able to solve 11 cases of gambling," he said. Commissionee Winardy invited the community to jointly eradicate the gambling by reporting any gambling activity to the police if they found any. "If you know the places of gambling, please inform us. Don't be afraid, because we will act against them, even if the gambling is backed by police. This eradication has become the attention of the National Police Chief," concluded Aceh Police Head of Public Relations.
