Inp.polri.go.id – Jakarta. Election Supervisory Body (Bawaslu) reveals five regions vulnerable to disturbances during elections. The reveal was based on their mapping in preparation of the elections. “The five regions are North Sulawesi, West Java, North Maluku, Jakarta, and Papua,” says Bawaslu Chief, Rahmat Bagja on Wednesday (10/11/2023). He explains that the new autonomous region in Papua are also concerning due to its region that has to use noken system. Moreover, the election organizers are still relatively new there. Rahmat Bagja also mapped vulnerabilities in social media. It cannot be avoided that these two regions are the most hoax producers and negative contents ahead the elections. “The two are West Java and Jakarta,” he said. (ad/ay/pr/nm)
