inp.polri.go.id - West Java. Ahead of planned demonstrations on August 27, 2026, the West Java Regional Police urge the public to remain calm and not be easily provoked by various information or calls for mobilization circulating on social media.

Head of Public Relations of the West Java Regional Police, Senior Superintendent Hendra Rochmawan reminded the public to be more discerning in receiving and disseminating information, especially calls to participate in demonstrations whose source or purpose is unclear.

He emphasized that expressing opinions in public is a right of every citizen that must be respected. 

However, its implementation must comply with legal provisions, maintain order, and not disrupt security or other public activities.

"You are welcome to express your aspirations, but please do so in a peaceful, orderly, and responsible manner. Don't let anyone exploit the situation to provoke or take actions that could harm the community," he said.

Hendra also urged the public to work together to maintain a conducive situation in West Java by prioritizing communication and not being easily influenced by unverified issues.

"West Java belongs to us all. Let's protect and care for it together. Filter before sharing, don't be easily provoked, and if you come across suspicious information, don't immediately believe it or share it," he said.
