inp.polri.go.id - Bali. The Head of Bali Regional Police Public Relations, Senior Superintendent Jansen Avitus Panjaitan says the Agung Security Operation ahead of the 2024 Regional Head Election invites the people of Bali to maintain regional security situations.

Jansen says that Bali Regional Police and ranks from Wednesday July 24th to August 8th conducts an Agung Security Operation that will involve 1060 personnel. The operation aims to maintain security and a conducive situation in the region ahead of the election.

He notes that ahead of the election, there will be various movements or motives from each supporter to harm the other candidates. In response to this, he invites public and all social elements, including local figures and traditional figures to prevent provocations in public.

Guaranteeing security in Bali is important as Balis is one of top tourist destinations in Indonesia and almost 70 percent of Balinese work in the tourism sector.
